The Patient Participation Group (PPG) are volunteer patients who are interested in the surgery and who want to play a role and have a voice regarding any issues, good or bad that the group feels need addressing. We try to be as representative as possible of our patient demographic profile (age, gender, race and ability) we are always looking to welcome new members.

Self-care is about looking after yourself in a healthy way

The PPG also provides the patient viewpoint on surgery practices and policies and can question or challenge the medical staff and admin team; however, the group does not deal with specific personal medical complaints for which formal channels exist.  We do raise general matters of patient concern and our goal is to work with the surgery to improve its overall services, we also undertake surveys and represent the surgery on other health-related bodies.

We meet for a few hours every 3 months (see the notice board in the surgery for the date of our next meeting).  If you feel you have anything that you can contribute and would like to join us we would be happy to hear from you.

Please get in touch via email at lcppg24@outlook.com.

Looking forward to welcoming you to our group.

We are encouraging patients to give their views about how the practice is doing. We would like to be able to find out the opinions of as many patients as possible and are asking if people would like to provide their email addresses so we can contact you by email every now and again to ask you a question or two.

Are you interested in joining?

Common patient questions and answers:

We would like to be able to contact people occasionally to ask them questions about the surgery and how well we are doing to identify areas for improvement.

This information is purely to contact patients to ask them questions about the surgery, how well we are doing and ensure changes that are being made are patient focused. If your doctor is responsible for making some of the changes in the surgery they might see general feedback from patients.

We will only ask general questions about the practice, such as short questionnaires.

Your contact details will be kept safely and securely and will only be used for this purpose and will not be shared with anyone else.

This is a group of volunteer patients who are involved in making sure the surgery provides the services its patients need.

No, but if you change your mind, please let us know.

We will ask you to let us know by email if you do not wish to receive further messages.
